We feel our approach throughout the planning and investment process is unique. Our clients enjoy working with us because they know we are not here to sell them products or to tell them what they have to do, but rather to educate and explain the advantages and disadvantages of specific options so that they can make an informed decision.
At our complimentary initial meeting, we will discuss your financial goals and concerns in depth and ensure that we have a complete understanding of your entire financial picture. We will take as much time as needed to make sure that we fully understand where you are coming from and what you would like to achieve. You will also gain an understanding of how Mack Financial Consulting will be able to assist you in reaching your financial goals.
Before implementing anything, we will review the pros and cons of various strategies and answer any questions you may have. We want to make sure that you not only understand what we are doing but also what we are not doing, and why. Not until we find the strategy that you are comfortable with will we move forward. We encourage questions and understand it's difficult to focus on a new concept if there was something unclear about the last concept—there is no such thing as a stupid question.
When it comes to investments, we spend a great deal of time making sure we know exactly what your true risk tolerance is as well as where we are within the context of the business cycle. Based on our experience, we believe that often there is a huge disconnect for people between how their money is invested and their actual risk tolerance. Typically, people are positioned more aggressively than they realize and, therefore, have exposed themselves to more risk than they are comfortable with. At Mack Financial Consulting, we want to make sure that you'll be able to sleep easy at night knowing how and where your money is invested.
Annual Review Meetings
Once we have implemented the various strategies you've decided upon, our service does not stop there. To ensure that we stay on top of things and perform the best job possible, we insist on meeting with all clients at least once each year. In fact, we meet with many of our clients two, three, and four times a year. At these meetings, we will do a comprehensive review of your finances to ensure that you are on pace to meet your goals and that you are as efficient as possible with every aspect of your finances. When necessary, we will complete a detailed analysis to tell us exactly where you stand. Also at these meetings, we will review the strategies we have previously implemented to make sure that they are still the best possible options for you.
In between meetings, we are still servicing our clients. We monitor all accounts on an ongoing basis and will contact you with any recommended changes to your investments or planning strategies. We also encourage our clients to contact us throughout the year if they have any questions or concerns relating to their finances. We have a policy to respond to client phone calls and e-mails within 24 hours. Often, we return a call or e-mail within an hour. Our clients are our top priority, and Mack Financial Consulting will be there when you need us.
